WP5 aims to support biomedical researchers and healthcare professionals by providing them with the knowledge and skills required to use tools and infrastructure for accelerating and optimizing cancer research. The two main tasks of WP5 are

• to identify and prioritize gaps in training related to cancer data research and
• to implement and deliver training resources.

The first task will identify the unique drivers and challenges that cancer data has compared to similar initiatives and will align the gaps to the framework of actors in the EOSC (European Open Science Cloud) ecosystem.

The second task will design learning pathways, develop tailored training material, and target the delivery of training to healthcare professionals and cancer researchers. WP5 will use existing resources, extend the RDMkit Cancer View, and collaborate with key data professionals to establish a European support network that will enable the scaling of training efforts.
