We are excited to announce that two new partners have officially joined the EOSC4Cancer consortium. Cancer Patients Europe (CPE) and Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS) will immediately commence their project-related activities.
Cancer Patients Europe (CPE) was founded in 2022 with the goal to advocate for cancer patients, their families, survivors, and caregivers, to shape a better future of cancer care across Europe. The members of this organization work alongside policy makers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to amplify the patients’ voice. Read more about CPE’s mission: cancerpatientseurope.org/
Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS) is a public consortium comprising the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, the University of Barcelona, and the Government of Catalonia, with the CSIC Institute of Biomedical Research in Barcelona later joining as an associated center. Its goal is to integrate basic and clinical research in order to attempt to answer questions that arise whilst caring for our patients in a research and teaching environment.
